With the sun gradually making quite the regular appearance this month I've been itching to embrace Summer make-up and everything fresh, bronzed and bright, so what better place to start than with five simple products that do just the job.

I'm not a fan of anything heavy on my skin in the heat so 1) the Ideal Flawless Beauty Balm makes for the perfect lightweight base while still adding enough coverage to hide a multitude of sins. It's also hydrating enough to achieve that soft summery glow but keeps any oily skin concerns at bay with a semi-matte finish.

For adding some much needed colour a quick swirl of the 2) Glow Blusher Bronzer Duo, mixing together both of the shades, makes for the perfect sun-kissed warmth when used all over the skin, not to mention that it smells absolutely delicious - think summer holidays in powdered form. The bronzing colour also works well when taken through the hollows of the cheeks and around the temples to add some extra dimension to your face.

Whatever the season I'm always a fan of liquid liner and the difference it can make in opening up your eyes. Going for a brown is a great substitute to the regular black and makes for a softer look. The felt tip nib of the 3) Super Extend Liquid Liner makes it so simple to create the liner look of your choosing; thick, thin, winged or not!

Lashings of mascara are always on the agenda and the 4) Supershock Blackest Black has to be one of my favourite products from the entire Avon range. The thick wand coats the lashes w ith enough product to really boost up the volume while the tiny plastic bristles separate every little lash for an amazing fully fanned effect.

No Summer make up is complete without a fun pop of colour and bright pink is my lip shade of choice at the moment. The 5) Ultra Colour Lipstick in Hibiscus packs a serious punch with an extremely pigmented formula that hangs around for hours and a nice glossy, hydrating finish.
