AVON Easter Nail Art

With Easter just around the corner what better way to get that Spring feeling
than to adorn your nails with pretty Easter nail art.

These fun baby chicks and floral nails are easy to create and can be easily
mixed and matched or switched up in colours to suit every taste.

Baby Chick Nails

1. First paint your nails with a pastel yellow shade and leave to dry.
(Here we used Avon Nailwear Pro+ Lemon Sugar.)

2. Next using an opaque white nail polish carefully paint a zig zag line horizontally
across the top part of the nail using the AvonNail Art Tool.

3. Then fill in with the nail polish brush of the white nail polish.
(Here we used Avon French White)

4. For the beak simply take the dotted end of the Avon Nail Art Tool
and place a dot in an orange shade just above the zig zag line you created.
(Here we used Avon Nailwear Pro+ Sahara Sunrise.)

5. For the eyes take the dotted end of the Avon Nail Art Tool again
and place two dots above the orange dot for the beak.

Spring Meadow Nails

1. First apply a sky blue pastel shade to the nails and leave to fully dry.
Here we used Avon Speed Dry+ Sprightly Mint.

2. For the grass you will need to take the brush end of the Avon Nail Art Tool
and a vivid green shade and brush up (or down, depending on which way
your nails are facing you) to create different lengths of slightly wavy lines,
making sure to paint on 2 or 3 more longer/predominant lines.
Here we used Avon Nailwear Pro+ Wild Savanna.

3. Next using the brush end of the Avon Nail Art Tool carefully paint on
semi circles and brush slightly upwards for a messier finish to create each flower.

4. Then with a lighter shade dab each flower to create depth.
For the Daffodils we used Avon Nailwear Pro+ Lemon Sugar and Sahara Sunrise
and for the Tulips Nailwear Pro+ Real Red and French White.

These nails can be easily changed up for a fun look or kept all the same.
For an alternate look simply use the same shades to create polka dots on every other nail.
To finish apply your favourite top coat to make the nail art last.

Where do you start when you're creating a brand new fragrance?My inspiration for Viva by Fergie stems from my love of fougeres – the fresh yet sexy 'scent family' that's traditionally reserved for men.

Did you have a 'Eureka' moment in the whole process? I wanted to construct a feminine twist on traditional male fragrance for Fergie. I began by imagining her, ever so confident, wearing her husband’s crisp, white, button-down shirt. I wanted to capture this sexy - almost unexpected appeal in a bottle. This was the exact moment that inspired me.

What about the ingredients? There seem to be so many layers here in a single spritz? Well, what can I say? Brilliantly fresh, rich top notes marry a heart of black lavender, paper whites and hydroponic star orchid. The luxurious backdrop soothes and comforts with creamy-soft suede, cashmere woods and intimate skin musk, an addictive, fascinating essence that represents a deeply sensual and wildly confident woman.

What is it that makes you proud of this new fragrance? It has created a new interpretation of freshness in women’s florals. Uncharted territory for Avon fine fragrance! Playing with bold ingredients and incorporating Fergie’s edgy, fearless beauty and femininity allowed me to explore limitless ideas.
